Nathan, why did you emigrate to the Netherlands?
Simply for the sake of our children and their futures. While keeping in mind that every country faces their own challenges, having done research and weighing up the options; we felt that the Netherlands fits the vision we have for our children and their lives better.

Can you tell us something how you do like the Netherlands?
I LOVE the Netherlands. I arrived at the coldest time of the year, yet the weather was not enough to dampen my mood. The food is a highlight for me; yes, some things are less common this side, however it feels good to be able to explore a wide range of new and interesting flavors. The people, even those that seem least approachable, are surprisingly friendly, as soon as you get them talking. The culture and mannerisms of the people is also something that agrees with how I was raised, which I think could easily not be the case depending on where you decide to emigrate to. I really can carry on forever listing things.

Please tell us something about the projects you are currently working on.
Being a QA specialist; I primarily perform Test Automation while ensuring we meet quality standards as a team. Working for a company whose product offerings excite me, as it is very unique in comparison to anything that I have worked on before – allowing me to explore new ways of approaching problems and solutions, and in doing so is fostering personal growth; something that I value a great deal.

Did the process of emigration go smoothly?
Moving to the Netherlands required immense sacrifice and the prospect of starting over was overwhelming. Thankfully, summit developers made the process far smoother than we ever anticipated. What could have been a daunting and complicated journey became manageable with their support. We are forever grateful to summit developers for helping us make this dream a reality!

Can you explain to the South Africans who are considering to go overseas how you did experience the support from us?
The team at summit developers are extremely supportive; ready to assist wherever possible. I got the sense that they were more than willing, and even eager, to go the extra mile, to make the process as effortless as possible for me and my family. More than that, they supported us through the more stressful parts as well, being very understanding of the circumstances surrounding some sensitive topics pertaining to our emigration, advising us as best as they could along the way, with offers of further assistance if needed. All in all, way more than I expected or would be willing to ask for. They really are world class in my books.
