TB Test
Part of the Highly Skilled Migrant procedure is doing a TB test. You, and your possible partner and/or children, need to go undergo a medical test for tuberculosis within 3 months after arrival. If you wait for more than 3 months to undergo the TB test, you may risk having your residence permit withdrawn.
The reason for the TB test is the fact that South Africa has no exemption from the obligation to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test.
